Introduction
Microsoft Visio 2010 Viewer Service Pack 1 (SP1) provides the latest updates for Visio 2010 Viewer. This service pack includes two main categories of fixes:
- The exe is installled but i i can't find the viewer the visio program does not appear in my program folder. The download worked successfully but when i double cick on visioviewere.exe, i never see the.
- The Visio 2010 API, Visio 2010 ActiveX Drawing Control, Visio 2010 iFilter, and Visio 2010 Viewer do not support.vsdx or.vsdm files. You cannot edit content that is embedded in a Visio 2013 file if the content is stored in another Microsoft Office document.
I have Office 2007 and the Office 2010 Visio Viewer installed. Anytime I click on a vsd file, I am redirected to Internet Explorer where the Visio Viewer is launched. This is fine for browsing a Visio file. I can move the diagram around and zoom in for more detail.
Previously unreleased fixes that were made specifically for this service pack. In addition to general product fixes, these fixes include improvements in stability, performance, and in security.
All the public updates that were released through June 2011, and all the cumulative updates that were released through April 2011.
